I founded HUV in 1997 to see if it would be possible to make a fully-functioning autonomous underwater vehicle in a very small package. Electronics have gotten to the point now where this is indeed possible and, perhaps more important, affordable.

MicroSeeker is the first step in that direction. One of the main areas that I am going to concentrate on is building autonomous control software. The software that runs these autonomous submersibles is definitely the most complex and the most interesting part of them. Since I am primarily a professional software developer, most of my interest lies with that part of AUVs.
